Poly 6s win a game of football. The day Saturday. The setting,
Polytechnic football pitch. The conditions, low sun with a fresh
feel. The oppo: Wilsonians I think. Perfect for football.
Administrative error: the 6s not on the railway pitch. Good. More
good news: Ricky returns. He's now a corporate whore. Essentially
he now murders poor people. But he's really fast at running and
kicks it really hard. Aubrey rested.
THE MATCHASL's assured touch and range of passing missed.
Everyone panics, kicks it as soon as they can and fall over. The
midfield lack size, muscularity and physical presence. Ricky hits
the bar. Kelly (smelling a bit of alcohol) runs away from goal.
Gets kicked up in the air. Back over the defenders head. Lands in
the box. No pen. JK chests the ball (he currently leads the 6s opta
stats for chests). JK gets kicked really hard. No pen. JB scores
header. 1-0 HT Ricky scores a goal. 2-0. Sandy rounds the 'keeper
and misses Can't remember the third goal. Maybe JB. 3-0. Ricky
scores a WONDERSTRIKE. 4-0. Dave comes off bench and shoots from 60
yards. The ball lands on the bowling green. Max scores a header.
The ref disallows it. Aden lies on the floor for a bit. Ricky
forgets to pass it. The skipper plays well* R2 brings a friend
along called R2. We win everything going at the raffle. FT - 4-0.
