Playing an exciting brand of attacking football the 1st team gained promotion to the AFA premier league in 06/07 as champions and cup winners. Based on this success the club went into the 07/08 season looking to win further trophies.
Unfortunatley with some of the previous seasons players moving on and new players joining, the team had to settle for a season of rebuilding. But for a better display in the cup semi final, the season may yet have been a successful one.
Moving into the new season we have had excellent pre season preparations. Our resident fitness expert Paul Cook has drilled the squad into great shape, coupled with some fantastic pre season team performances everyone is anticipating a very good season.
With an influx of new players and the majority of last seasons squad determined to claim a trophy the blend within the team is perfect. Our manager Jeremy Seales really has a tough task this season as competition for places will be fierce.
With the season starting on the 13th September all things point to some silverware coming to the Poly this year.
