Weekly Update - Training moves to Wednesdays 18:30 on the Astroturf.

Another good turnout on Thursday 26th despite heavy rain showed the level of enthusiasm for the new season.  But as everyone will have realised it is now sadly too damn dark to get a long enough session without lights unless we start unrealistically early, so time to move on to our new astroturf slot for the season.  Six Thirty start : Time to start sweetening up the boss!

Remember - no studs to be worn on the astroturf!

And before we leave the subject, if you think our timezone makes a total waste of late summer evenings whilst squandering perfectly good daylight at 6am, sign up for the Lighter Later campaign.  No doubt Keith can fill you in on the North Scots perspective on this though!

Sheen Lions - Our New Youth Partners

As part of our policy to set up strong links with local boys and youth football clubs Polytechnic is looking to set up a more formal arrangement with Sheen Lions FC (www.sheenlions.com) who operate teams up to Under 18 level.

The Under 12 team who field an 11 aside team in the Surrey Youth Sunday League and play their home games at Palewell Park East Sheen  SW14  are currently recruiting players for the coming season.
